Rachel has enjoyed making ice sculptures for many years. Because of this, she was once seen as a nerd and picked on frequently. Now a psi morph known as Coldblaze, she has become stronger than ever. She uses her physical strength to defend those who are picked on by others. She also often plays the role of caring big sister to those who are picked on by others.
Her powers allow her to make use of psi atoms (and psi cells) that repel heat while focusing it into other forms of energy. She uses this power to make beautiful ice sculptures while focusing the heat into energies that attack or heal (this is how her turret powers work. The turrets are actually the ice sculptures formed using psi atoms that repel heat to freeze the air while also making use of that heat in special ways.)
Coldblaze wears 2 techpaws. One of them fires blasts of heat, the other fires blast of ice. She uses the heat techpaw to provide extra heat for her psi atoms (and cells) to make use of.
